John Locke and "The Enlightment"

John Locke was famous for his ideas about the Enlightment. Thomas Jefferson was influence by his ideas, so he wrote the U.S Constitution. John Locke explain about natural rights, which are life, liberty, and the property. Thomas Jefferson also wrote about people have their rights, the life, the liberty. But instead of property, Jefferson wrote about happiness.
Also, John Locke believe that most people are good and that it was the duty of the goverment to protect the rights of the people. This meant that all goverments should get the power from the people. This is the democracy we have today
